Let's Get Started! Set-up tasks
  1. We suggest using Google Chrome as your computer web browser today. ~ Link to Chrome Download site
  2. Set up your Google+ profile: include your school name and a photo (Your TAG folks will help you through the process, and this video and info will help others back at school).
  3. Set up your YouTube Channel--YouTube Site
  4. Start a hangout without inviting anyone - this will prompt you to install the Google Talk/Voice plug-in
  5. Test your headphones/mic for audio and recording
  6. When you start a hangout on air for the first time, you will be required to verify your Google account. You will be prompted to receive a voice call or text message with a verification code that you enter in the verification box.

Tips for later today: You will choose to learn about Evernote or Twitter in breakout sessions today.
  1. Please download the Evernote app/client to your computer/mobile device and create an account if you don't have one.
  2. If you plan to learn more about Twitter, be sure you have an account created and also download a Twitter client such as Tweetdeck or Hootsuite. See below for download links to all apps.
